INCOSE New England to host the first general membership meeting of the 2018 year

The INCOSE New England chapter is setting-up the first get-together of all INCOSE New England members across the states for the Thursday May 17th, from 6:00-8:00 pm. The event will be networked by Cisco. This would be a combination of physical meeting locations in Connecticut and Massachusetts, as well as a virtual links between these 2 locations and for other individuals who cannot attend in person. The Connecticut event will be held at the UConn Hartford Campus/Hartford Times Building in Hartford, CT. The Boston area location will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Waltham, Massachusetts. A Cisco link will also be provided to those who would like to be a part of this meeting, but cannot attend in person. Both in-person events will include dinner, drinks, and talks from the newly elected executive board for the chapter. The evening will also include a talk from the invited guest speaker, David Long, who will be giving a talk titled "Reimagining Systems Engineering", outlining the challenges, opportunities, and upcoming changes in the field of systems engineering. The agenda for the event is as follows:


6:00 – 6:30 Meet, Greet, and Mingle at Local Sites

o   Local Introductions at Sites

o   Order/Obtain Food and Drinks

6:30 – 7:00 Dinner and Member Engagement by WebEx

o   Introduction of New Officers – Matt, Ebad, Amy, Ed

o   Vision and Plan for Chapter– Matt

o   Conduct Member Feedback Session - Ebad

7:00 – 7:45 Invited Speaker: David Long

7:45 – 8:00 Discussion and Wrap-Up
